Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Meridian Pathways platform and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About Meridian Pathways

Meridian Pathways LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an interactive, web-based educational planning platform incorporated in Pennsylvania. We provide AI-assisted college-list building, academic planning tools, and related educational guidance (“Services”) to high school students and their families (“Clients”). Access to the baseline platform is currently provided free of charge.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

Our Services are intended for use by parents or legal guardians of high school students aged 13 or older. By creating an account, you represent that:

• You are at least 18 years old;
• You have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself and the student you are registering;
• All information you provide is accurate and will be kept up-to-date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Services & Service Tiers

Meridian Pathways provides an interactive, web-based educational planning platform. The baseline platform — including AI-assisted college-list building, academic affinity tools, activity planning, and timeline guidance — is currently offered free of charge to registered users. We reserve the right to introduce optional premium features or service tiers in the future, with reasonable notice, and to modify existing offerings at any time.

4. Payments & Refund Policy

The baseline platform services are provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce optional premium paid features, tiers, or services in the future. Any such paid offerings will be clearly identified and will require your affirmative opt-in before any charges are incurred. Pricing, payment terms, and applicable refund policies for premium features will be disclosed at the time of purchase and will form part of these Terms upon your acceptance.

5. No Guarantee of Admission

College admissions decisions are made solely by the admissions offices of individual institutions and are influenced by a wide range of factors outside our control, including institutional priorities, applicant pool strength, available spots, financial aid considerations, and policies that change from year to year.

Our Services are designed to educate, inform, and empower students and families throughout the admissions process. Any guidance, recommendations, or projections generated by the platform are informational in nature and based on available data — they are not promises or guarantees of any outcome.

By using our Services, you acknowledge that past client outcomes are not predictive of future results, and that Meridian Pathways LLC bears no liability for any admissions decisions made by third-party institutions.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI-generated content is produced based on information you provide in your intake form. While we strive to ensure these outputs are helpful and relevant, AI-generated content:

• May contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors;
• Is not a substitute for professional judgment and should be treated as a starting point, not a final recommendation;
• Does not reflect current admissions statistics, policy changes, or institution-specific data.

We encourage all clients to review AI-generated content critically. AI-generated outputs are an educational starting point and should not be the sole basis for any important decision. Meridian Pathways LLC is not liable for any decisions made solely on the basis of AI-generated content.

By using our Services, you consent to your intake form data being processed through third-party AI service providers for the purpose of generating personalized college admissions guidance. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, software, and proprietary methodologies are owned by Meridian Pathways LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for your personal, non-commercial use only.

Reports and recommendations delivered to you as part of your service package may be used by you for personal college planning purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish these materials without our prior written consent.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information in your intake form or during consultations;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems;
• Use our platform for any unlawful purpose;
• Engage in academic dishonesty, including submitting AI-generated essay content as your own original work to institutions that prohibit it.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meridian Pathways LLC, its members, employees, and consultants shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to college admissions outcomes, reliance on AI-generated content, or service interruptions.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Meridian Pathways LLC in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to us or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. If you have purchased any optional premium services, termination and refund eligibility will be governed by the terms disclosed at the time of that purchase.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where changes are material, notify you by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
